10forcash - 75k service +

Huge thanks to Iain for coming to do my 75k service. Thumbs Up As expected a top notch job and all the issues with the vehicle were clearly explained, in preparation for a warranty trip in to the dealer. He's also doing a very quick turnaround for my park brake issue (most of it seems to have evaporated Confused ) which he'll be back to sort out at the weekend once he has the bits.

Thanks Iain Bow down

cheers Rob! Thumbs Up
Spooky how I arrived spot-on 'beer o'clock' Wink
For the benefit of the audience, the EPB shoes on one side had delaminated due to a heat build up ( the melted adjuster access plug was a clue!) cause? not 100% but new discs had been fitted by a generic (i.e. non LR specialist) garage and they were probably unaware of the need to adjust the EPB shoes to the new disc / drum... strangely there was no debris at all in the EPB drum Confused
As soon as I find the right Censored lead i'll put up photo's

BTW, if anyone wants a 'near end of warranty' checkover.... Whistle

Did it trash the inside of the drum as well.

Mine got a bit stuck last week, but seemed to free itself - I hope

Bodsey, as ever, it depends on location, if you came to me, £115 inc vat, travelling to you would be £115 plus the cost of round-trip fuel

Jason - wouldn't be the first time Wink could well be persuaded, a full DTC read & clear at the SE meat costs about 2 beers Whistle

Inside the drum was slightly scored but not enough to change it, most will polish out with some emery cloth
