10forCash (TFC) Dual Headrest DVD Install |
|
Visited Iain today in Swindon, he was doing some work for Dom (StaplDM) in the morning and had a spot free in the afternoon. I was coming back from Evesham so it worked out.
As a side note I would recommend Dom's coffee (when he puts the moo in!) and also the crispy bacon butties . Also got the name of a great cafe' in Burford
Iain installed the 7" Rosen Head Rest kit into the back on my D3. Total job took about 3 hours + bacon + coffee and general mirth and merriment .
Proper job install, glad I didnt attempt it. At one point the car dash and centre consul was in 100's of pieces . Thankfully all went back together nicely.
Would highly recommend the Rosen units as they offer every option of vision and sound you could wish for. Well worth the extra in my book over standard head rest options

Looks like my first reply didn't post...
Good to see you Neil, have to say your install looks uber 8) and I was impressed by the colour match of the leather too. TFC put a lot of TLC into that install, I didn't see a single screw or fixing go ping!
Glad you liked the coffee, even if you don't drink it like a man (moo indeed!). At least you didn't ask for red sauce on the dry cured oak smoked bacon! Oh, wait .....
Edit : Forgot to say, Ellie really enjoyed testing your cargo; looks like we're going to have to find something similar. I was thinking that an old fiat 500 with 27 not so careful owners would do the job but be a fair bit cheaper Might see if the local Karting place does her age group... Dr. Ian Malcolm:
"Yeah, but your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should."
Transgenic tomato anyone?

Ooh yes, very nice. I can see some very peaceful journeys ahead of you!
Are these the "special offer" ones from a while back, or are they trimmed into the original headrests?
