15K Service - £235
Has anyone managed to get better than this.
£235 is the standard price for the first service at MJ-Fews, Charfield, Bristol . I went in with all the intentions of negotiating (expecting £300+), but when they said £235 my sense of negotiation faultered and I agreed immedeatly.
Maybe I should have held out a little longer !.
I'm now booked in for Monday. They are going to do the enhancement upgrade - is there anything else I should get them to look at.
cheersDuncan

I agree, excellent service & price from Ripon LR.
Moved my business there recently from another dealer [read:Robber].
Been at many, many dealers throught the country, but never seen as many Land Rovers in one place as RLR!!!

Just out of interest, did you try 'the other' Bristol dealer? if so, how much did they quote?
Nick.

Nick,
No I didnt. I was so taken back by £235 I lost all by senses. MJF are quite close and supplied the car so arent worried too much.
The other dealer in Bristol I have dealt with is Hunters. MJF were very competive when I bought the car. I matched Hunters and MJF against each other and MJF gave me the best price.
Probably hoping I would put all the servicing through them !!
Its worth a conversation with both though. MJF have been quite good so far, maybe if there is enough of us in the area they would do a disco3.co.uk service discount ??Duncan

I think mine was £163 ? from Shukers.
So long ago now though that I am probably wrong. Was for sure less that £200. Prices may have gone up of course.
