I know the wiper stalks function differently eg on the MY10 you pull to wash the windscreen, yet if you do that on a MY16 it washes the rearscreen (or visaversa ) but can you fit a MY16 to an older D4 model and therefore ensure the old feeble brain doesn't wash the wrong screen?LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

If the connector is the same, then yes. I can't imagine that they would change that just on a model year change.
They may have wired it differently of course.Bodsys Brake Bible
My thoughts exactly, just wondering if anyone's tried it?LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

Just wondered if you were parts swapping already.
Just try fitting your arm in the Red Baroness, what's the worst that can happen?

I'm confused - nothing new there maybe - but my 2010 wiper stalk doesn't work as described
To wash the front screen it's a press on the end button, to wipe/wash the rear it's a pull towards wheel.
To operate wipers it move up in stages and there is a ring to vary delay.Stew,

Mine works as described by Sloss.
I think I have seen something on here about using RRS stalks, as I was looking due to my indicator stalk being faulty.Andy
Yes Sloss, but the Latest ones work the other way around and when you jump from one to another it's a little frustrating LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

Still confused! Pull my stalk, ooh, err, it wipes the rear window a la your description of a MY16.
I remember the big change years ago when you were all ready to light someone up for a misdemeanour and you flashed the wipers at them - very frustrating!
I just noticed your Vice Versa in your original post - more confused than ever Stew,
