17" is the smallest rim that will clear the brake calipers  I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

on a TDV6, if its a V8, then 18's are the smallest rim.

Hi thanks for quick reply's so i now have 4 wheels and tyres to sell,  not mutch good on this site, was told they were for a discovery I bought for my disco 1but did not fit diferant wheel centres  must be disco 2.
So will put them on discovery owners club site convoy For Heroes record holder (348)

Oddly enough, a colleague asked me today if I knew anyone with any DII 16" alloys + MT's for sale ... Long succession of Disco's since 2001...
SIII Lightweight - neglected & rusting. Bulkhead, A panels, vent panel & outriggers now disintegrated - Next years project!
