tried TWT and they claim they have nothing for the D3 yet.
Apparently Minty's have some options. Will investigate tomorrow. has anyone fitted non-LR wheels and lived to tell the tale?
Autosport in Midrand found me a 17 " and 18 " designed for X5 (thanks Aubrey) at about 1K each . I have decided to go for a 17" with a higher tyre wall to make up the differance . Mainly because this size is more freely available .
Haven't quite decided on the tyre yet , but probably a Wrangler ATR (I think it was ) at 245/65/17

Heine just chek that the wheels have the correct load rating, ie. 940kg, and that they will clear your front brakes.

Not yet - but there may be an issue with the load rating - I think they are only 675 kg - not sure if I should risk them ?

675x4=2700:
That means that you will be overoading the wheels without even loading anything in the vehicle.
Your choice, but I wouldn't dare do it.
There are lots of genuine wheels available overseas. I bought those 5 from Nick at a good price. If you like I will give you a cost breakdown once they arrove so you can weigh up the options. I can also have our shipping agent do the deed for you - they are the best of a bad bunch of a-holes

Yup I've already told them that they need to find something better - especially since these rims are going to work harder than the standard ones
But I would like to know your landed cost please

Wheels have arrived!
They are here - apparently only left the UK last night 'cos the Hellmann UK guys were a bit sleepy, despite Nick telling them this stuff was urgent. The upside is that Hellmann SA might look into a bit of shipping discount because of the the inconvenience
NickTDV6 - you are a Gentleman
