Hi
I've got 2 issues with my disco again. Minor things really but they need sorting.
The park brake was squeling again after only 7 months since doing it the last time, I've had it sorted but I think this is going to get expensive after the warranty runs out. I know its because the drums are filling up with mud, dust and other crap while off roading. Is there a way of cleaning and adjusting it myself? I dont have a huge tool kit nor do I want to go messing around too much, is it somthing I can do on the drive way on a sunday afternoon?
The other thing is the steering column adjuster locking lever. ( if that makes sense) Has anyone else had trouble with it? I collected the car from the stealer after having the park brake done and some bright spark had moved the wheel. Anyway the column wont lock in place now and the lever wont fold up tight to the back of the platic shroud. Is this a self fix or do I have to take it back into the garage?
Cheers
Rich
