My 2005 TDV6 S Manual Discovery 3

It needs a bit of work and a good clean, but its a weekend project so will keep me busy over winter.

I didn't plan on buying a Disco but, here we are!

On the lookout for a decent cheap code reader, a book pack as its missing, possibly a 2nd key, and maybe some bits to make it look a bit fresher.

It's certainly a comfortable place to spend time, and the 170 mile trip home from picking it up was quiet and uneventful!

Its had the drivebelts and cambelts done in the last year, clutch feels great, no knocks or rattles from the flywheel.

Decent spec, has Xenons, panoramic roof, heated front and rear seats, Logic 7, Thule Aero Bars, detachable towbar, 7 seats, 3 zone climate that all works, 6 cd changer with steering wheel controls, and it even came with full land rover rubber mats!

Oh and 207000 miles Very Happy

Need to check out the turbo as it loses throttle response, special programs off message etcs if more than 50% throttle used over 2750 rpm, from dtcs logged it will be actuator or turbo thats failed.

Other issue is normal height only, has too slow to fill reservoir code so a compressor repair kit will be fitted when I have time, and I've also got a EGR blanking kit from X8r to fit.

Sunroof not opening but not too worried about that right now!

Welcome to the club. They can be challenging but also enjoyable. Be prepared to spend more than you want to but they are a nice place to be. Cheers.
 Cheers

Gave it a clean and a fault code read today.

All codes cleared other than the compressor too slow to fill, and turbo boost code.

Will fit the egr blanking kit and free the actuator off on Monday, then just needs driving!

Took a lot of cleaning though!
Never had a car with so much sand everywhere before!
