After checking all connections, grounds, etc., the right rear still doesn't read RPM. So it looks like it's time to redo the previous repair with new wires, solder, and shrink wrap. Sounds like a job for Monday. Also, while inspecting the ABS pickup ring on the CV joint, it appears to be a little rusty. I am going to try to clean it up a little, but can anyone verify if this could be a problem? I have seen Jaguars with ABS rings that are always exposed, so I don't imagine that it is the culprit here, just wondering if it may affect it.
I appreciate everyone's input, time to enjoy the weekend.

The rust shouldn't be an issue, but if your'e going to clean it use a brass wire brush not a ferrous one! Clean the sensor too while you are there.yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ
