It wasnt for some if you remember
we were in Cornwall and had a blinding 13 days solid sun mid July, looked at the forcast for our last day and it gave heavy rain
so we dropped the awning and packed up , set of back around 4 pm friday night hit very heavy rain top side of Bristol down to 20mph , lights would not penitrate the spray.
got home ok , next morning watching the news we were shocked to see the M5 flooded .
remember seeing caravans just sat flooded out on the motorways
we missed it by about 2 hours
all that after being flooded on one of our sites late June twice in a week .
