2008 Navigation
I picked up the latest Navigation DVD yesterday as my car had the 2004 version and way out of date.
I've noticed that you can only interface with the navigation when you are stationary. As soon as you move off, your options are cut to really just viewing the route.
You can't change/add waypoints, or input addresses/postcodes etc...
Is this a security feature you can disable? For example, what if my passenger wants to change something I have to keep stopping
Cheers

I believe, this was changed sometimes in 2007/2008. My 08 HSE allows changes while moving which is really convenient if SWMBO can handle the navigational issues enroute.

the search should have braught up the answer....even I found it several times with just 2 weeks here....
Your car will need to see the dealer to change information in the identification file of the car. (this is where use while moving is generally allowed or disabled)
On the actual disk there is an update for the SATNAV equipment (and only the equipment, not the car setup !!!) to allow the input.
