ah22-18c815-ae head unit.
Anything to do with the stereo unit eg music sat nav tel etc is not working just a blank screen no start up logo either. Iv checked all fuses and wire connections. I disconnected the battery and done a hard reset for 20 mins and have also driven the car for a while. I tricked the relay coil wire to earth this activated the screen showing the landrover logo but I guess it is looking for the head unit now.
Question is is there anything else I can try before ordering a replacment, does any one have schematics for the head unit am I looking for a can buss signal from the car to wake unit up I don't have access to a gap tool at the moment. Should I go out and buy one first? Any help would be appreciated 👍

I sent it away to alpine audio who are the authorised repairer they changed the main board inside the unit for £250. They check the unit out first for a small fee and if u go ahead for the quoted repair price they knock the checking fee off. Works fine so far. I asked for the old board back as I will look into repairing it when I have time.
By the way when I say unit I mean the the cd player part of the system as it is this that controls the other connected devices eg display / amp etc.

Same issue on a D4. Turns out it was the CD changer/head unit. Was a pain to track one down but managed to get one on part finder for £180. Quick swap over and all was good.
