Woooohooooo, just found out it has a proper matching alloy as a spare. And if my memory serves me right it has a heated steering wheel. Happy Days! Only things on the to-do list are fit a cooler cubby box and get the car added to the IID. Mr. Green Mr. Green

Miss-read that, one of each is fine. Shhhhh, old-D will hear you if you suggest replacing her. I will be using old-D, there's a couple of wine gums under the seat that have to be rocked out by the motion of the car.

Cheers, that list reminds me I've got to remove the locking wheel nuts and get more spares. Also the emergency entry lock in the passanger door has never been used since it was fitted, that's going to need gentle coaxed into life. And forgot about the electric steering wheel adjustment.

When the iPod/iPhone is connected via the curly cable does the car screen show details about what is playing, playlists, next track, be able to shuffle etc? I have an old iPod touch with a dead screen that I could Velcro into the inside of the cubby box & leave in there semi permanently.

PS and does the SatNag system allow entry on the move or is that something I have to sort out?

Yeah music all displayed on screen, but it's a bit of a pain to search through the music. I think you have to scroll A-Z etc, so can take a while to locate music in middle of you have lots of music. DAB works great though.

You can enter Nav on the move Thumbs Up

Great, will see how it works. I do have an iPhone 4 that has a working screen, I could put that in airplane mode and use it. Then got the screen if I need to fiddle with it.

Good stuff re entry on the move. Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Next daft(ish) question. How easy is it to move all the gubbins in the 2nd battery box to put an aux batt in there? Thinking of that in parallel with the crank batt via a solenoid, just like I have on the D3. How straight forward is it to take that aux feed (fused of course) into the cabin and make one of the 12v sockets in the centre consul permanently live for charging tech? And also to convert the rear seat 12v socket to live for the Engel? The 12v in the boot is permanently live but off the crank battery.

Straight forward or am I way out of my depth? Would look to do this at the same time as fitting the cubby fridge. Thumbs Up
