2011 Driver Information Screen

Is it just me or is this a bit of a waste functionality wise? Doesn't really seem to show that much other than the trip computer bits.

Would have been nice to have at least had your arrival time or distance to travel from the sat nav, or what radio station you're listening to!

Anyway, whinge over! I believe the 2012 cars have more on this screen but I'm guessing there is no way to get this functionality on a 2011?

Just to confirm it is under used on the MY2011 and the MY2012 is so much better. It doesn't have the arrival time or distance to destination but it does bring up the sat nav turns ahead and shows the radio station or if you've got an ipod plugged in it shows the artist and track. As far as I know this can't be installed on a MY2011 Cheers Ian

Thanks for the reply.

Shame it can't be installed on MY2011 - are the screens physically different in any way or is it just a restriction on the software side?

The brochure for the 2011 year did include some screenshots of the DIS and there was more content in the middle. Sat nat arrows, station/music details etc. However, it never came. One assumes they couldnt get it to work in time for the model year.

My D4 is MY 2011 1st registered Sept, and has sat nav arrow, iPod info, radio station! Very Happy

The MY typically changes around September time for orders made around July time. So, Sept 2011 deliveries would have been MY12
