Hi .. Has anyone managed to enable the horns instead of the alarm with any kind of diagnostic stuff ? G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

You can do it on yours .. It's just the 8 speed I need to check G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

It's a pity that the horns cannot be enabled on later D4's - this was an easy and worthwhile mod on the D3.

It can be done with an IID tool on a MY2012. I've just done it on mine. Thumbs Up MY2022 D5 HSE D300 - with extra nice bits added
MY2019 D5 HSE 3.0 SDV6 - sold to a dealer for a crazy price! - So good I bought another!
MY2012 D4 HSE 3.0 SDV6 - retired to a new home

It now uses BOTH the sounder and the horns. Shocked MY2022 D5 HSE D300 - with extra nice bits added

I tried with IID tool a while back and it didn't work !!

Was there just one change to make in the ccf ?

Have you tried setting the panic alarm off with the keyfob ? Does that activate the horns ? G4 Gone ...but not forgotten
