Just to add the rear tailgate on mine needs a more forceful push to shut. Nothing outrageous but it’s doesnt gently close!

Some more updates:

Had to take the front end apart again to fit the extra relays required to make the full beam flash work on the new lights. Considering how much research I did before buying the lights I'm quite surprised that this wasn't mentioned anywhere before.

Bought an off the shelf conversion kit from Xenon Direct (xenon.direct@ymail.com) that took about an hour to fit... now it all works as it should again!

Next up was removing the last of the light wood trim. I'm still debating about painting the black bits Baltic Blue to match the car, but at the moment I'm enjoying the black

Then fitted a Mentec upper shelf to store jackets / shopping bags / dog treats

On the dealer front they've finally agreed to fix the tailgate dent, so that is being looked at by a specialist when it goes in next month for the drivers side TV screen issue 2013 Discovery 4 HSE Lux | 2001 Defender 90 TD5 | 2007 Prodrive RB320

Also not a fan of the wood effect but inherited it and CBAed changing it.

I changed the whole door cards out, but they look like they should be easy enough to remove. You'll need to remove the cards to do this though. not a hard job but takes a bit of care and patience to avoid braking clips

The trim at the sat nav screen is clipped in so pops out with a trim removal tool under one corner

Coin tray is dead easy it just unclips

Terrain Response unit is a bit more of a pain. As you can see in the pictures the whole centre console needs to come out and it's unbolted from the back by removing 4 torx screws into the terrain module itself. I took the opportunity to swap over the rubber handbrake buckets either side of the gear selector too. Mine were badly gouged and they were annoying me

Looking at the dash clock it only took me 1.5 hours to do the whole centre console swap - including the rubber bits and giving the whole thing a damn good clean 2013 Discovery 4 HSE Lux | 2001 Defender 90 TD5 | 2007 Prodrive RB320

Update!

Drivers side screen is finally working again after the full unit was replaced by LR under warranty

Good news ends there though.

After saying the tailgate dent was going to be fixed when it was next in... it wasn't. Apparently it needs to go to the bodyshop

The tailgate closing issues are still dragging on. They're now saying that the tailgate is out of alignment and that also has to be fixed by the bodyshop!

Never heard of that being the cause of the issue before

Another update

D4 spent 4 days with the body shop - so dent is gone and I now have a new set of tailgate hinges

Tailgate shuts perfectly now... so just goes to show it's worth arguing about these little things while the warranty is still in date

I have a early Disco 4 with facelift headlights. I read the post about an "off the shelf" to get the light to flash when main beam is off. Can anyone tell me where I can order such a kit?
