Collecting the first of ours on Thursday next week so they are about and being built. Problem is that the factory is running at full capacity and trying to meet demand for RR, RRS and Discovery.

They might now be building them, its been a few weeks since I was up there, but im really surprised if its the 2014MY that's being shipped for next month - good luck if it is.
I know my revised date is locked in to January

I placed an order for a XS on Friday from Peter Vardy in Aberdeen. Been told production stopped till the new year, not sure if this is true. Got a build date in January for March delivery. As for discount, was like getting blood out of a stone, but eventually got a guaranteed trade in price for March and just under £1000 off price of discover.

2014 Discovery's being delivered at the moment are most probably Dealer demonstrators and other Land Rover vehicles.
Issue LR have at the moment is that demand for all vehicles built at Solihull is currently much higher than they can build them even though the production line is running at maximum capacity. Tough decisions are having to be made over which models to build to satisfy demand and there is little or no pre-built stock for Dealers to call on. Hence reluctance to offer discounts unless really pressed.

Think he means MY as in Model Year rather than MY as in mine but may be wrong!!!

First of our 2014 Discovery's arrived today, a day earlier than originally planned.
Next one is due in about 3 weeks time and the third sometime after that.
