On the mirror lights - you probably don't have them, they have Range Rover on them, so I think its linked to all the vision assist stuff in the mirrors.
The front is definitely lead by the (outgoing) sport front we think...which is nice.
I cant believe it doesn't have cornering lamps like the sport though...adaptive headlamps have never really appealed and something slight different, but the turn illumination on the sport was really useful Mike

Every single time you start the car, you can disable stop/start...I haven't hooked it up to anything - but I bet it cant be disabled easily (there will be a way).

Thank god for that, the thought of it stop/starting every time you come to a standstill and not being able to override it would burst me

Have vague memory cornering lamps can be enabled on previous my yr D4 without adaptive.
I liked the turn lights on my RRS but like the adaptive and turn lights even better on present D4.
Anyway be glad you have rear interior lights hat come on when door opens D4 Landmark MY16 Santorini Black THE LAST

Adaptive lights arent
I guess everyone is different; I really like my adaptive lights, as we have a lot of small roundabouts and bends in my area, and it helps a lot, much more so than the cornering lights alone.

could you confirm what options you selected?
the literature is so confusing/conflicting!
I like the logo approach lamps but some literature says you only get it with Vision Assist whilst other stuff doesn't even mention them! XC90 T8 R Design Pro

First time I've been able to get out not int he rain to open the bonnet mainly to check the fluid levels and I'm very tempted to take it back to the dealer.
The battery plastic box wasn't fitted properly and loose ...the rubber grommets for some of the serious power cables (I assume for stop start) weren't filling their hole ie half in half out ...I spent about 15 minutes to get it seated to fit the lid and at that half sealed correct, although the battery box is now in the position it should be and shut...but I'm still not sure if everything is ok wiring wise (eg located properly or not rubbing on anything - I did the best before it rained). There was a thin gauge earth cable with no thought to routing, I didn't want to disconnect without knowing what it was for.
Who knows if it was built like that or done when the dealer fitted some of the stuff.
Hopefully it's better than when I found it!
Oh 500 miles in...it's great. Stop/start is now off almost by reflex every journey...it's awful, totally pointless. MPG is at 31...the disco doesn't handle as well as the sport (I did expect that), butt eh engine seems powerful, good engine breaking and overall it's nice a quiet.
Mats don't fit int he rear, but I have a deal with the dealer , who continue to be good Mike

Funny that. I opened up mine today to access the fuse box in order to pair a couple of extra FBH remotes (courtesy of eBay). Same issue - cover poorly fitted, 2 gromits not seated properly. Should be ok now but surprising. And bonnet needed a bloody good slam to close properly. Same issue re the thin earth wire, seemingly fitted as an afterthought. Hmmm

Yes I forgot the bonnet thing...seems wrong the extreme slam required to shut it ...glad and worrying it's not just me. Took 4 attempts to get it fully closed!
Did you sort yours out wiring/gromit wise? My thinking/worry was with all the water around and the electrics being almost open, I wouldn't want water getting in there.
Was the trunking over the engine, carrying the two battery cables also looser than you would expect?
Oh and my number plate is starting to peal off on the front Mike
