I have a 2015 MY Discovery 4 that has the typical stability control, HDC, lowered suspension for safety, emergency braking etc warning lights. After going through cascade failure of codes, the transfer box module points to the ABS module and the ABS module points to the airbag module (RCM). The code in the RCM is U2008-54 "Sensor Cluster - Calibration missing". Nothing in the vehicle has changed so presumably this is a module failure and nothing should need coding. I've tried replacing the RCM with a second hand unit however nothing changed. When checking the live data in the Ride Level Control Module the lateral acceleration/yaw sensor is stuck at 0G and doesn't change when driving the car, unlike the longitudinal acceleration sensor. When tearing the car apart to find this yaw sensor, I found that it wasn't in the suggested locations:
Under the fridge/central cubby box:
Behind the centre dash on the transmission tunnel:
This is the same on my other 2 discoveries, 2015MY and 2016MY.
If anyone has a clue where to find this module, I'd appreciate it.

Even looking at the 2016 wiring diagram, there's meant to be a lime green wire from the BCM that splits into 3 and goes to the ABS, Yaw sensor and Steering sensor. I've found the splice but it only splits into two, heading to the ABS and Steering sensor.

That's what I was starting to suspect. Would it be possible to access the wiring diagram you're using please? The one I have must be outdated/mistitled

What was the eventual fix for this problem?
I have the same U2008-54 error code and the associated loss of stability control, lowered suspension etc.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Did you ever find it? I've just ripped all the middle out of mine and its not there!

Hi Olly,
Turns out, it's part of the RCM (restraints control module) which is the module in my first picture.
Best of luck!

Just the one module. If you need to replace it, you'll need to code it to the car or you'll get a bunch of lights on. Lowered suspension, no HDC etc

FFS.
I keep getting Park Brake Fault warning, it resets every time the car stops.
It is deffo Yaw related, my fault reader says Longitudinal Sensor fault, bought a Yaw sensor to replace it and now I'm stuck.
