£25 donation to anyone link oil pressure/seatbelt warning

Will donate £25 to anyone that can link

Intermittent but daily - after 10 mins driving low oil pressure red light comes on along with passenger seatbelt warning and 5 seconds later low washer fluid.
Lights stay on for about 2 minutes

Car runs fine - checked over by local 4x4 specialist - oil pressure good
Faults U0140 - lost communication with bcm

Battery voltage good so assuming wiring harness or canbus

Thanks if any clues

How old is the battery ?

Was initially hopeful it was the battery but was checked by mechanic and voltage good - it’s certainly less than 9 months old - even tried an overnight trickle charge and made no difference
Thanks for thought

Getting back to at least trying to be helpful...

Given the three sensors are unrelated, how about checking earth points? 'tis the season to be chucking salt on the roads after all. Might have a bit of electrolytical shenanigans going on.

Had a similar issues years ago on a V8 when the oil pressure would come on and the outside temperature would jump between very low ad normal temp. Checking the electrical documentation I discovered both signals had only a connector in the drivers (left side) electrical distribution in common. Digging further I realised that the issue was related to water making its way into that area caused by the black plastic trim on both sides of the windscreen. This part has been modified by LR multiple times as water ingest behind the plastic was quiet common and the water would drip directly into the main connector area.
If your problem started following rain or a car wash check the plastic left and right of the windscreen.
In case you replace the part do yourself a favour and also order new mounting clips.

Good Luck hunting down the issue

Nikolaus

Good morning people..!

Did you get to the bottom of this problem, as my car did EXACTLY the same yesterday...! Big Cry

Oil light came on, there is oil in there, as checked.
Seat belt light was on, mine plugged in, no one sat in passenger seat. Plugged that in light went off.
Switch ignition off, and tells me low washer fluid, when I only filled it 2 days ago.
Psycho by name, chilled by nature....!

Yes it was intermittent at first but became every trip - then the whole cluster intermittently stopped ( all mph / Rev Needle’s dropped to zero for a few seconds)

Sent the cluster to clusterrepairuk - fixed for £165 . Removing is quite easy once you have pulled off the surrounding plastic trim
Good luck
Brian
