265 60 18 all terrain tires on disco 3

I'm looking to put some all terrain tires on my disco 3, I looked on the Johnson rods website and the biggest they recommend without the need for any mods is 265 65 18.

Has anyone got any experience with this size tire?

Will they still run in access mode with no rubbing? In case I need to lower it.

I want to be able to put them on with no extra work.

this is something i looked into and the biggest you can go without rods or any lift is 265/65/18. i wanted to fit 265/70/18 but rods are needed as when and if the suspension fails you wont be able to drive. i got my info from the bloke at prospeed

Perfect. Thanks

I'll go ahead and order them if they have no problems.

I will get the rods eventually but going to see how it looks with just tires first.

Will it affect the speedo with that size tire?

Yes, will make your speedo read slower these bigger the tyre you go

But, using iidtool you update your tyre size diameter or radius to ensure it reads correctly
