Actually, the new ones ran out only a few months ago
JLR had a stock of brand new units tucked away that they couldn't sell, due to the price difference between new/reman
They sold them all off at the same price as a reman

Car is "sold". I've moved on to GLE 400d.
If anyone cares for this 2012 D4 80k miles with history as per above for more than £12k let me know ASAP.

Yep already on those forums with my other cars. Will miss the Disco allot had a 3 and then a 4 since 2009, but just cant face any more issues with a car and gone with a warrantied car for a few years as a means of (expensive) therapy.
Will always keep in touch here - and of course will continue to watch LRTime and the like.
BTW - and completely an aside for Youtube watchers. There is this guy in the UAE - Tasos Moschatos who has a channel dealing with mainly Mercedes AMG's but is a true master engine builder. For those interested he is worth a watch.
If you wondering where the Disco4 is at - its running great but not done the oil sample test - I am actually going to use that test I purchased for another car since the Disco is now out of my hands already, and yes the buyer is aware of the history.
