I'm getting between 20-24mpg real world calcs at the moment. My last one was 19mpg. Auto with a remap. On a run at a steady pace I can achieve 28mpg.

My tintent is about 1.2 ton, I do have a light foot as well
But on the subject of mpg I did not buy the car on that alone if I was worried about mpg I would have got some thing with a better mpg rating convoy For Heroes record holder (348)

I think the mpg is good at anything over 20mpg. I came from Evo's which would only get 12-15mpg and about 5mpg on track, so buying a disco I got comfort and fuel economy all rolled into one.

Similar experience with my D4 HSE. Trip comp saying 28, and my calcs show 23-24, when driving gently. Much less is also easily possible! Strange thing is that I did get 29 from my previous D3 2.7tdv6 auto and again these were my calcs and not the vehicles own findings! Should it be worse and can anything be done?

On a recent long journey of about 350 miles, mostly motorway, the computer tells me 30.5mpg.
From new, after 3.9k miles of mixed driving, computer says 27 mpg.
Both are better than I was getting in my previous D3. (Although I never made a manual calculation for either to check the computer accuracy)

Who cares? Just fill her up and enjoy. Over a year can't make that much difference surely
