Well at least in taking the photo, I found a Werthers sweet, 1 penny and a car park receipt, all of which I didn't know I had lost Thumbs Up

What's under the passenger seat then ? - I mean the silver LR box not my hidden collection of goodies.

I'll have to investigate TOPIx a bit more.

Hmmm topix should make reference to High or Premium spec .... another place to look is to enter the vin into the genesis as built ccf as that would tell you Thumbs Up

I would honestly buy the D4 you want as upgrading to the higher amp could be done easily Thumbs Up Stolen - D4 Loire Blue

Under the passenger seat should be the Surround Camera Module or on Asian spec cars there is also a NAV unit. 012MY RRS 5.0 Supercharged Autobiography (Current)

Bumping this thread back.

Does the sound system debate also apply to facelift HSE luxury models?

My searching has some with the 825w sound system listed and some don’t have it listed.

Yet the cars without have the badges on the front speakers like the ones listed.

Rather annoyingly the car I really like, doesn’t have any pictures to show if it has the D pillar speakers.

I thought the standard spec of the Luxury included the 825w system. Not being “run out” models, the HSE Luxury spec. should be more consistent. 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE
2010 D4 HSE (A bit bling)-GONE
2014 D4 HSE (Almost too bling)-GONE
2015 D4 HSE (A heated what?)-GONE
2016 D4 Landmark (Written Off)-GONE
2016 D4 Landmark (Surely the last!) PD1881 rims-GONE
2017 FFRR SDV8 Autobiography (now semi-retired)

Definitely not when looking at the last of them built.

I ended up doing a Topix Search as suggested by notyalk to confirm the one I wanted to buy had it, but you do of course need the dealer to provide the VIN number to do this.

I was lucky in that the independent dealer I was talking to not only was happy to provide the VIN, but had already done so themselves and emailed the output with the VIN number. Along with a lot of other history and service records.
