3rd Row Seat locked

Hi,

Unfortunatly the left 3rd Row seat of my discovery 3 is locked. Its in the folded flat position now and I have tried everthing but i just can't raise the back part. The seating part works fine by the way.

I am able to lift the handle a couple of inches which seems normal. With my other hand hand I can feel that the inside moves but the back part doesn't move an inch. I also don't see any screws or something so I can demontage it from the outside.

Big Cry I would really appreciate if somebody can help me. This weekend we have family over and I need to pick them up from the airport and I really need that 7th seat...

Try pushing down on the folded seat back at the same time as lifting the lever.

Gareth, thanks, I have tried that this morning but still no results. I can't get the folded seat back moved at all. Does somebody have a technical manual how to dismantal the seat in the folded position?

I've got the same issue with mine, anybody any idea of how to release the seat, tried pushing down on seat when pulling up lever, but no joy.

Guys check under the back of the seats nearest the back door. There may be something trapped in the mechanism which is holding it down even though the latch is making and breaking. Could be some thing under the seat or something trapped in the frame work. Thumbs Up

Had this the other week but is easily sorted.

I've checked everything this morning, can't find anything trapped at all, the rear mechanism doesn't seem to be working at all. Can the seats be removed without lifting the back half?
Totally stuck at the moment and need all 7 seats all the time, so big problem for me!

Hi Joan

Been a while since I've been to Breda. I used to visit the truck centre next to the Jaguar dealership Thumbs Up

I can only help regards removing the seats, but the details here may help you get to the release mechanism. Hope it helps Thumbs Up
