Well every one,
Just wondering what work they generally do at 48,000 km's service (30k miles). Mine is due this week. is it just oil and filters this time round as per first service or when do belts and that need doing?? i know they give it a checking over in general but cant see anything at first hand that needs replacing underneath apart from the plastic cover that covers the towing ring/eye at the front which got ripped off when went over a rut
Iv it booked in to Youngs in Kilkenny, for the irish boys on here, who did the EGR valves on mine about 2 months ago, found them good and helpful so said iv give them a try for servicing. any of the irish contingent on here any experience with using young's for servicing..
cheers..

Does a tad - I think I paid €490 for a 75K service but this included front brake pads done also which cost a few quid.
Dont commit until some of the other lads come back to you on here

Haven't had any recent experience with Youngs but I bought and maintained my previous D2 through them and always found them to be good.
SWMBO's uncle lives down in that general direction and would have had more recent dealings with them (D2 and now D3) and generally speakings highly of the lads in the workshop. Discovery 3 TDV6 HSE

I would strongly advise using Kings 4x4 for any servicing they are based in Wicklow town. Googsy

While im sure there very good at what they do, wicklow is a bit of a trip from carlow which is where im based during the week so 45mins to Kilkenny suits me. ill check them out though and thanks for tip.
Apart from your sound advice googsy, ill ignore your number of posts.. thanks for highlighting that tanters.. 07 Discovery 3 TDV6 Commercial (Java Black) with:

I couldn’t recommend Young’s highly enough
From sales to workshop & everything else in between, they have been faultless in all our dealings with them
