Firstly ill start by reasuring MartinR that im not ignoring your question by not answering it just yet, im preparing something special that will help all the members understand what the voice does so please bare with me.
For now here are a few pictures of the newly added buttons.
I forgot to take one of the main menu NOT showing the 4x4 info sorry
First picture is the nav main menu with the 4x4 info option already added.
This picture is of the 4x4 info screen its self.
The next picture is of after i enabled Timed Climate, im still working on this so the function is not working as yet so bare with me.
This is the Timed Climate settings page, Again you will see i have 2 buttons grayed out that i need to finalise yet.
From the main menu into the settings and into Voice settings you have this help page.
Again from the main menu and into the Audio/Video menu you can see the new TV menu, i dont have the TV module fitted which is why its grayed out.
More to follow as i progress.
Pete

The 4x4 info and Voice this is working at it should but now i need a second car to test the same actions that i used on mine to see if the process is completed in the way we wish it to be.
Re the times climate, interestingly i fitted the factory T91 timer last week and it didnt work when i borrowed a plip for it from my dealers
My plip ive orderd from LR are still on back order which i think is a f**king joke considering these cars are now in main stream prodution.
So me being me orderd a VW T91 timer plip and guess what, hay presto it has paired its self to my module no problems.
Ive still some finalisation to do to get it to work correctly but at least now i have a plip i can use of my own.
I actually need to know some more information from someone who has already got the FBH plip about what it does on the dash when it fires etc etc.

This is the answer to MartinR's question, its not as good as i expected it to be but its better than me typing getting it wrong and making looooooads of spelling mistakes
Anyway, i was asked
Quote:

So i thought id ask my car for some help and record it and post for all to here.
And this was the ladt she said hehe
And remember "im just a computer" LOOOOOL

Seconded Paulp
When she says, "you can use your voice to control", "lets work together" and "lets get started" was enough for me.
And to think she is talking about controlling your Land Rover and paying attention to the road beggers belief.
Edit: i checked out more, she even says you only need to press a button to make her shut up and listen and that she may not understand you and will ask a couple of times.
Hell and to think how i put up with a Tom Tom retro, as in SWMBO saying in a demeaning told you so voice " we should have turned off there, I said right, even though i meant left or, you got us lost again didn't you"
I was thinking D3 owners were upgrading from the love of their lives because of the more sumptious interiour or the revised front end looks and LED lights of the D4, but i guess now we are getting to know the real reason
Does she perchance also say, "if you have the 3 litre capacity engine i will respond much better to a good spanking"
No wonder Petes so excited by what we regard as a common or garden CCF edit

Yes, ive done the "Show current location" it then switches from what ever screen its on and show me where i am on the nav sereen.
All the functions that are listed seem to work as normal. except for the "car please wash your self"
