4x4 tracks to go to just for FUN |
|
Hi All
I was wondering if we could compile a list of places / 4x4 tracks to go to just for a jol.?
If we could add a short description of the experience.
So let me start:
Location: Hennops trail: Gauteng
On the road to Hartebeesport dam from the JHB PTA side.
Some game was seen the track is rather driven out distance is about 3 to 5 Km. This trail is designed to enable any four wheel driver to experience the true pleasure of four wheel driving in conditions that will satisfy anyone from the first timer to the experienced driver. There are lots of places where you can traverse the obstacle from many angles; this could be lots of fun.
For the experienced driver the trail lends itself to achieve ultimate performance with any 4WD vehicle over a wide variety of obstacles including mud-holes, steep rocky climbs and descends and dongas. For the not so experienced, tricky obstacles can by bypassed by existing tracks and service roads.
The “water hole†has a slow flowing stream that dams up and thus becomes a RED muddy soup in an instance. White LR3 TDV6 2007

Midrand Quarry is always fun and we can braai at my house afterwords - I'm just down the road . Let's set a date and and I will get some of the usual suspects together - plus the tea party crowd .

Most should be in SA 4x4 or in Drive Out . Let me know of any that you are specifically interested in and I'll see what I can dig up
