Well if a bunch of them try to flag me down in the street ...

Reminds me of a drive down into London before the M11 extention into E London. A bunch of protesters were bing interviewd by a TV crew in front of one of the houses they were trying to "save" in "Wanstonian". After work in the smoke, was about to head back up the M11 when I noticed the same protestors were trying to thumb a lift north. Says something about their cause!

Didn't want to grubby up my nice new BMW 5 estate! You should have seen the state of them, even my fellow postgrad students look respectable compared to them (most of the time).

or you could have told her to take a very fuel efficient horse and cart although I hear the emmissions are a tad high and a bit hard on the eyes

Sorry guys Thud When I said my devil would say "step on the fuc&in' gas man" ...I didn't mean to bypass them quickly and avoid giving them a lift.

My intentions were purely to ensure a hard and direct contact of their body parts and organs with the road surface Very Happy

I do get the feeling reading discussions like this and similar ones on other 4x4 related sites I frequent that your average 4x4 driver is getting really Censored ed off with all the Censored from the antis and it's getting close to the point when we just ain't going to take it anymore and something blows.

Up till now most of us have simply taken it all in and being educated sensible people with a good understanding of the facts ignored all the rubbish or had a good laugh at it. Now though I think we're all coming to the realisation that if we don't start standing up for ourselves we're going to suffer as a consequence whether it's at the hand of a spraycan armed anti or another politician that cares more about votes than facts.

My biggest fear now is that one of 'us' will loose his rag with bad results and only further the cause of the wrong Sad I think it's time we seriously thought about significant but legal response of some sort that will show that we're fed up with all the rubbish being said and show what the facts are

Couldnt agree more. But as you said, the response or action must, must be legal else you fall at the first hurdle and are percieved as no better than they. And a collective voice is far louder that any one of us alone.

Thumbs Up

What...not unless it pulls out in front of you

On a serious note (dont laugh) - why dont the LR and other 4x4 rags that are published get behind a campaign, otherwise they'll have no market to sell their offerings to.
