Derek, nice to have met you, if it was only briefly. And thanky you very much for collecting the plate as well.
Once i finally figured out what i was doing (on my back upside down and back to front I know, tell me) it probably only took about 20 mins to fit the plate and secure it with three bolts. The fourth, long bolt on the cross member under the drivers seat, was an absolute to do. Luckily i have one of those three way folding wrists.
Ended up taking a M6/10mm nut off that was holding a rubber fixing beside the fuel tank, this allowed for a little more roo to get my hand in to fit the washer and nyloc. But be aware, the washed can or could catch the wires that are in this area.
And aThank you to Andrew for getting these done and waiting for the money.

I would like one also please? The plastic cover on mine had a hard life, two of the attachment points have been broken, so anyone fitting the guard I would buy the plastic cover if in better conitions than mine. Or is this not removed when fitting the guard?
You could have my original guard, but it's probably no better that yours - considering the cost the of the LR ones, you're better of getting one of these Ali ones from Andy - far superior.

Tony, if they are available and if anyone can get it to the Wild Wales weekend I can get it north from there.
PS just realised I'm in Cardiff before heading up to Llangollen (start for Wild Wales ISTR) so can detour & collect on the Friday 25th.
