Received an email today from Stratstone with offers to lure me in to a new Land Rover so heads up if you are thinking of ordering. I ordered a new Disco months ago for delivery on the 1st March.....will be asking tomorrow if i qualify.

Stratstone in Cheltenham have been brilliant on warranty work on my D4. Just saying D4 HSE - Aintree Green

Did they use LR PARTS ???D4 Front upgrade/cut back wings n things 'taking a long time but getting there'.
D4 rear upgrade - Narpys helped with that bit
Flack for problem solving and D4 Bluetooth Install/ D4 Heated Steering wheel with Flappy paddles n BBS enabling kit
Disco Mikeys work - Serviced, EGR blanking and 4x4 software upgrade, 3 flash indicators.
B.A.S - FBHIC. Uncle Rays spare wheel protector. Beanie Silver Black badges.

Stratstones in Slough were good for me (they are now Lancaster).
Glosboy ..... nice to hear Cheltenham are good as that's where my Dad is taking my D4 for it's next service in April (he's looking after it while I'm living it up in the bush )Nick

Ah, Stratstone's free servicing.
I used to work for a Stratstone dealership. The car gets the absolute minimum. Cheapest oil, genuine oil filter, and aftermarket for the rest.
Then when it is out of warranty, cheap oil filter tooMy D3 Build Thread
Stratstone in Cheltenham have been brilliant on warranty work on my D4. Just saying
Four visits to get the Compressor changed after I used the information off here to diagnose the problem in the first place, only to be told that they have ever had to change a Compressor.
First service last year they find the Power Magic behind the Glove Box and in bold written across the invoice I get.
"Customer has fitted modified engine chip"
Trust them implicitly, not.

we got told that because we had had some discount we couldn't have the free service package they just make it up as they go along

That would have me raging. Not just because it's a particularly confrontational approach, but also because you've got to be some kind of complete of a mechanic to look at a power magic and what it's connected to and then deduce it is in any way related to engine management. Scary.
I used a Stratstones in S London once. And once only. They'd never get another penny from me after that.PAGODA
