61 plate HSE
Seen a 61 plate HSE in the local stealers. 66K miles. If it's still around at the weekend I'll go and have proper look.
Anything particular I should look out for or enquire about at that mileage?
Any opinions gratefully received. Thank you.

Nothing above any other really as they are all the same engine etc. That will be the 6 speed gearbox, so just make sure its smooth and doesn't do anything strange. If you do go ahead with it, it would be worth getting a gearbox flush completed asap if it hasn't already been done - Check the paperwork. Its not a service item, so the owner would have to go above the service requirement to do it, but its really worth doing.
Great cars and great value for money at the moment.
As its a HSE, just make sure everything works properly - all electrics etc

I thought it would be 6 speed but looking at the pictures it has the rotary knob.....that's the 8 speed, isn't it?

Am I being thick - but surely any 61 plate car would be a model year 12 as that is when LR updated the range and put out the 8 speed?.
