7 spoke FFRR wheels
Just fitted new set of seven spoke FFRR wheels to the D3, very pleased with them and the diffrence in handling is huge!
My lad (10 years old )thought they looked pants off the car but is walking round with and is a lot happier now. He was even more impressed with the fact he got to jack up the car and remove the wheel nuts. MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

Guess that also means he knows how to take them back off and sell them on ebay then when you don't comply with his pocket money demands I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

Interesting you mention the handling - had mine on for a week now and I have to say never experienced grip & handling like it!!. Braking is so good , had to avoid low lying sheep on the mountains several times at short notice and they delivered big time
Got pics of mine but I still cannot workout how to post pics on the forum - anyone help me?.
As for looks prefer my RR HSE's which I took off but hey handling and safety first.
Looking for a 5th one for a spare if anyone has one available

Yes that is the same as I am running. Had those on the old 18" wheels and got 18000 miles out of a set with about 4 mm left. Much better mileage out of the D3 tyres than what I used to get out of the Ford Galaxy tyres, only used to get about 10000 miles out of the front ones.MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

Well lets see how far I go on mine - just want to get a 5th for the spare,you running a set of 4 or 5?. You noticed that the wheel nuts sit high compared to when on other wheels? - going to talk to TLO to see if there are shallower nuts available.

Running a set of 5 or will be, got them off another member but unfortunatley one of the tyres is damaged and I do not think it is repairable, shame as it is virtually brand new. Just need to find a second hand tyre which is legal for the spare.MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange
