Well thhe ferry is booked May 21 portsmouth to santander and back on the 29 santander to plmouth now to work out a good route -------------------------------------------------
if you cant hold on dont let go , it ill come in handy for something even if you never use it.

Didn't take the Disco down there BUT we did take our KIA Sorento on a similar trip AND we were towing our Airstream - frankly we don't bother with ''spares'' so if we break down we rely on the AA or whoever we have at that time.
Obviously we stuck to the tarmac when the Airstream was on the back BUT once pitched up we then went looking for good (bad) off road routes - great fun and apart from a puncture never had any problems - we were away for about six weeks!LR Discovery 4 XS pulling an Airstream 532 Caravan also own (since new) a 1996 MGF

Going with 2 of my mates so will share the driving , 2 days Pyrenees driving then down to Madrid , then to my friends place near Almeria he's got 30 acres of olives and great house and pool so 2 days there drinking then to Grenada and up to Santander -------------------------------------------------
