After 8 years I've finally ...............

............. learned something new.

If you press the scoosher button for the front screens it usually applies the wipers for 3 or 4 wipes. If you only want one or two wipe(s) just flick the wiper stalk down (from auto to off) and it kills the wiper action at the end of that stroke. Excellent if, like me, the extra strokes annoy you then this sorts it out. Mr. Green Mr. Green
