So now i have the 245 70 R17 copper s/t tyre's fitted is the tyre pressure the same as the standard tyre's or not

I left my car at the garage this afternoon so they could swap the tyre's over whilst we went to the shops .
when i returned the guy said all done mate here is your key, then said by the way what way round did you want the tyre's ,so I looked at him and said what do you mean
he then took me to my car and said, I have put the white writing facing in as i think it looks smarter as the writing gets rubbed of.......so i replied no I wanted the writing facing out as i thought it was supposed to be like that
We then came to a compromise as in a financial one so I felt better about it .
The fitter said the tyre can be fit either way round as there is no directional arrow after I asked him.
IS THIS TRUE

And yes the pressures are the same all round. Its a vehicle specific thing not tyre specific ASAIK
