AA breakdown repair policy and suspension compressor
Had this policy a couple of years, cost £16.per month inc recovery ect. After a failed compressor thought i would see what they say. Result - AA paid £465 towards final bill of £650 so very pleased.
Work done by a new LR indie just outside York.[/quote]

Up to 5 claims a year of £500 max for each one. They didn't even ask to look at my service history. As long as you develop your fault/ breakdown away from home, call the AA, they send out a tech to confirm / diagnose fault and then take it to any VAT registered garage, who then have to contact AA for authority to proceed on repair. Quite straightforward really and well worth the money

I have always used this cover and found it very good. You can have up to four cars on cover and mine normally pays for itself each year. They paid for my air compressor about 3 years ago. At £160 extra each year to cover 4 cars it's good value for money. No mileage limit which is good as the disco has done over 200k. The only requirement is that the car is serviced by a VAT registered garage in line with the manufactures recommendations.D4 2016 Landmark, Waitomo Grey.
D3 2005 HSE, Bonatti Grey, now sold but still comes back for servicing.
Defender 2002 Td5 Commercial, had a hard life but slowly being restored.
I only work so I can afford to repair my Land Rovers!

Have any of you had a problem with them quoting the book time being shorter than the time it took the garage to repair the problem, and them not paying the full labour charges? In particular for egr's!

You will find most warranty companies are the same.
What a good garage would do is raise the labour rate, to cover the extra time over book time, that is not covered My D3 Build Thread
