Accelerator pedal sticking

The go pedal seems to have a mind of its own in my MY12. I had not driven the Disco for two days and this morning the pedal stuck after I took my foot off with the damn tank continuing to take off like the devil himself was behind me. When I pressed the brakes it slowed down but some further testing on what was a clear dual carriage produced a definite clunk noise if I let it slow down by itself as the accelerator came free. This lasted for at least 30 minutes and then disappeared. And advice or previous experience that can be shared is welcome

Doubt I'd get much joy on the bank holiday weekend. Might give LR assist a call instead.

Aye. Not happy as I enjoy it more than any other vehicle I have ever driven.

Nothing from the test drive by the LR technician or with the diagnostic. Now you might all laugh but he thinks my rubber mat was catching the pedal as it was not secured. I think he might have a point Embarassed
