MY11 D4 5.0 V8, Bournville, lots of goodies!
Now departed: '85 RR Vogue, '94 D1, '95 D1, '70 SIIA, '97 D1, '04 D2a. All V8, except for the SIIA - but that drank as much petrol anyway!

I have the Garmin Dashcam 55. It's very small and the screen turns off after 30 seconds or so. It records in HD and has a number of extras - voice activation for saving pictures or video, speed cameras, lane departure warning, forward collision hazard etc. It's not the cheapest, I paid £150 when it first came out but you can now pick one up for about £120. I would recommend it.

That Garmin looks great, and I can even get it locally.
Can features like the lane change warning be turned off? I Googled and can’t find an answer....
Thanks! King of the typo.

The settings menu on the Garmin 55 allows for the driver alerts to be turned off and for the volume of alerts to be changed. the online user manual is here:-

Thanks all - I bought the Garmin.
Look forward to trying it out - if it's any good, I'll get another for SWMBO's Mazda. And maybe one for the rear of each as well...... King of the typo.
