activating rear windows in commercial disco4

activating rear windows in commercial disco4

got the window cover off.
but how do I get the windows to work. I can hear a clicking when I press the button but no movement at all not even a little bit. what do I need to do ??

New motors I,m afraid as the plugs have been broken off and filled up with some sort of mastic

what's making the clicking sound??
it sounds like it's coming from the motors.

Have you checked that the glass hasn't had sealer put in the window channels to help hold closed,on my d3 had to give the motors a little help to drop window then cleaned channels out and work perfect now Thumbs Up

Are the motors connected, is the cable plugged in to them Question

If yes then I guess the windows are still glued in place so you need to free them with a spatula or scrapper.

Mine had a grey plug that had been removed from here



I had to buy the whole winder unit as the part itself was more expensive than the whole unit.



But mine is an 11 plate so may not be the same.
