adaptive bi-xenon headlamps Issue
Hello !
As soon as I start the vehicle the headlights make a slight 'left-right' movement but while driving they remain static.
I checked the code of the projectors (AH22-13W030-MD) and they seem to be AFS Bi-Xenon (LR023543 and LR023544).
In the CCF everything is active (AFS and Cornering),
Is it possible that both projectors are out of service ?
Any help would be welcome !
Thanks in advance !

They don't move much. Bit of a gimmick really.
Am sure you've checked but..
When moving, and then steering left or right, you get about 5° pan. That's all.
The cornering lamp will allso light up.
The cornering light will also come on when you indicate and at the right speed.
I had a lens break recently and ended up buying one from a parted D4. Not cheap.
Also tried to replace the plastic lens using the tape sealant with relative success, so I have a spare now.2011 MY D4 HSE

Hi !
Thanks for thr response !
As you say I checked and they really don't move at all !
Cornering lights, no problem !
By the way, is it normal for them to move slightly "left-right" when I start the vehicle ?

Mine move out-to-in on start up. Kinda like an inverse squint, back to a squint and then center. But I have a D3, not sure if it would be the same.

Mine move on switch-on. It's like a little calibration/activation procedure. Perfectly normal. The amount they move when driving is only occasionally noticeable - and it's just the centre point of each beam that you'll see move slightly
