Remove the lamp from the car, remove the rear outside sliding bracket, you will see a blanked off ring where the LED should fit, drill it out (pilot hole first) with a hot drill to prevent plastic getting inside the lamp, push an H1 LED bulb in the hole held in place with a spot of epoxy resin glue, run a wire from the red supply wire on the socket, enable in CCF and voila you have cornering lights
Hi M3DPO, I think this might be the best option for me too, do they work with steering or indicator?
Did you fit the earth to body near headlight?
Also don’t suppose you have a link to the bulbs you purchased.

They work with indicator below 40ish mph(can’t remember exact speed), Enabled in CCF, must be in drive with engine running.
Earth to body via a simple push on spade connector.
Example of LED bulb, there is not enough room to fit the high powered type with a rear cooling fan. There may be other types that are suitable, these are similar to the ones I used.
If you look at your second photo in first post, bottom left corner under the bracket you can see the recess where the bulbs fit

Red 7 is power feed
It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

I haven't even pulled the lights out yet to have a look but to avoid soldering onto the bulb, do you think using something like this would be better?
With the right plug it could give a more permanent finish. Do you think there would be room?

Yes it would better, but...........there’s just not enough room. If you haven’t bought the bulbs yet for best results get the highest lumen you can, but they must have the single plate on the back, not the amplified type that are fan cooled, they just will not fit, LED bulbs have improved in the short time since I did mine, the flat two cob type at a claimed 3000 lumen are my choice, but they where not on the market when I did mine which are around 600 lumen and I am happy enough with them not to justify changing.
When you’ve got them sorted I’ve got another project for you 8)It can when others can't,

It's the one above the two green blanks, top right in photo.
To double check there will not be a wire in that pin hole of the lamp socket, good luck.
