Add internal Equipment to an SE!
Hi All
You may have seen my other posts about adding some addtional internal equipment to my SE, but it would appear its not possible or easy? Ideally i would like to add the following
1. Rear Heated seats
2. TV
3. Rear A/C
No doubt some will say why didnt you get a HSE but i had a very good deal on my wagon, so that is why I got the SE.
Surely LR could be making even more money by offering these addtions on a retro basis?
Anyway I am sure you be willing to provide you valued advice.
Cheers

They do ...by selling very nearly new HSE's for £22.95 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021
£22.95 this credit crunch is hitting hard

There we go then it appears that D3 are not really adaptable and not really for me!
Only wish i'd found this website before i bought the wagon, well least i got a Defender and Volvo I can add plenty of bits too!'56 Disco 3 SE - Tonga Green

You could add all the bits just as you could on your Defender and Volvo but if you want to use OEM parts and have it all working and integrated with the rest of the systems it becomes a much bigger challenge and will not always be possible without considerable expenseThe End

I would only be adding stuff that is avaiable, lets not be silly now!
I'm fully aware that loads of Acessories can be added to a D3 but not options!'56 Disco 3 SE - Tonga Green

Maybe easiest with rear seat is to get one from a breakers yard and replace with your existing. Im sure it would not be too difficult to connect up then again could be wrong Googsy

Gav, an HSE with all the kit as standard from factory will always be worth more than an SE with the bits added as options from factory or fitted aftermarket. You can spec an SE up to HSE level and it will cost you the earth, but when it comes to trade-in time a dealer is just going to say "SE, SE..... SE.... ah, page 47. Yup, it's worth X", regardless of the extras fitted.I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
