Wish I had seen this a couple of weeks ago.
Sat at an outside table in Angus Steak House in Leicester Square, when a big Veggie/Anti meat march came through. They started hurling abuse at those eating. We hadn't ordered yet. Management asked us if we wanted to move inside, we declined.
Police were stopping protestors coming into the area, but the barriers are only 3 foot high so they were leaning over.
Everybody shouting 'Shame on you'.
Protestor leaned over barrier, and started talking aggressively to my 11yo daughter. Saying she had a right to chose what to eat, and shouldn't be forced by her parents. I stood up to intervene, and a police woman came over as well.
Protestor asked my daughter what was she having to eat. She looked at me, and nodded.
Her exact words were:
'Either a chicken burger, or a bloody steak, and its none of your business....'
Protestor gobsmacked, and walked away.
Police woman gave her a High five, while I am explaining to manager, that she likes her steak rare.. MY07 Freelander2 SE Santorini Black - Gone
