Pirelli Scorpion Verde AS vs Michelin CrossClimate SUV

What are peoples opinions about the Scorpion Verde AS vs CrossClimate SUV?

255/55/19

I do mostly decent A roads but need to be able to navigate the odd field and farm track every couple of weeks.

Or any other recommendations?

The CrossClimate’s big selling point is a snowflake and mountain peak rating for proper snow use. Probably not relevant for what you’ve mentioned. I’d stick with the Pirelli, it’s a great all rounder Thumbs Up

Yep another vote for the Scorpion AS - I've had good experiences with this tyre. Haven't used the Michelin so can't comment on that one.

I read some stuff on Verdes splitting in the middle so not so keen on them but CrossClimates seem to have very good feedback in all sizes

I would not write off that tyre based on a couple of posts - One case did not even look like an AS ttyre to me. I ran mine for 30k miles with no issues at all and they are OE on a number of LR vehicles

Can’t comment on the other but I’ve got a set of cross climates on and there fantastic in the wet and on dry roads and the best I’ve ever had on icy roads top choice in my opinion for a fantastic all year round choice

I’ve run several sets of the Pirelli’s without any issues to date Thumbs Up

With snow capability being important to me, I’d have planned on buying a set of the CrossClimates for next winter, if it hadn’t been for the severe lack of LR friendly sizes that they’re made in Sad

Im getting a set of cross climates fitted this weekend to replace the worn Pirelli ATR's. Decided to try them for a change from AT's.
