Advice on NL electric hook-up
Morning Guys,
I will be on holiday in NL during August with the family and caravan, can anyone please remind me if the electric hook-up plug used on Dutch caravan sites is the same "blue 3 pin" as used in the UK, from memory I believe they are the same but just want to be sure.
Thanks in advance

Read some Dutch websites for you Highbayrack, and they seem to suggest
that the blue CEE 3 pin one is common but some camp-sites still use
other older systems too.
I guess best advice is to make sure you have all options covered
or check prior with the camp-sites to confirm which plugs their power supply uses.
I'm sure some Dutch members can add to this also.

Thanks Hess, I'm sure your correct and this plug is fairly common place now in Europe. I do know some French sites still use the 2 pin type, but as you say, I'll make sure all my options are well covered. Cheers On a mission to find the perfect Pork Pie. Just Found it (I think)..(Yes I have)

I hadn't thought of this until I seen an add somewhere recently for a converter lead Eu 2 pin to Blue 3-pin,£29 they wanted for 0.5Mtr.
Will take my chances and hope the site is 3-pin.

I have not come across a camp site that does not use the 3 pin CEE in NL.
As a matter of interest, where are you going?

Thanks all much appreciated. @ wvlenthe, we will be in the OVERIJSSEL region at a site called "Recreatieoord Kreighuusbelten" near to Raalte. Very nice family owned camp site with good facilities for the kids and a large fishing lake full of carp We stayed there 3 years ago and had a great time. We have close friends living in Heino and Zwolle so we know this area quite well and it's a good base to explore from
