I understand that twin axles can be difficult to man handle so you will need a motor mover attached.
Sorry but that is rubbish you have the best mover in the Discovery. We gave had large cans gor 10 plus years and never had the need for a mover.
Having had Bailey Lunar Deffleths and in their day Avondale we now have a Swift and think it is the best van we have ever had
Agree with Russell we have a twin axle and have never needed a mover I move it with the Disco and that has included some very tight spaces, that's what low ratio is for
I stand very much corrected I've just ordered a motor mover £1800 as we physically couldn't get our van where we wanted it as the it was just too long when attached to the Disco. We had to man handle and it wasn't easy D3 Metropolis Bonatti Grey-Alpaca Leather-adaptive headlights-fridge-EGR blanking kit-Harmen Karden-Cruise-4x4 info enabled-Tinted Windows-Heated F&R Seats-Rosen rear Entertainment-LED'S everywhere -Smoked Side Repeaters-Rear Aircon-Vredestein Wintrac 4 Extreme-Puddle and Footwell Lamps-Stainless Steel Side Protection Tubes- NEW ASHTRAY ( thanks to dsd1036 )

Stayed on a lovely large pitch in the summer, which very helpfully had trees around edge of pitch. No way could I have got the van on pitch without the mover as there wasn't room to manouver without clipping a tree
Which I very nearly did when I tried it

Agree with the view that a Discovery effortlessly moves a van about but there have been times that we simply wouldnt be able to pitch our twin axle van without the movers, especially on some of the French sites where access is not brilliant. Also very handy for leveling it on ramps and lining up the alko wheel lock. A single axle is much much easier maneuvered but for a twin, and a lot of the time moving and parking it up in storage on my own I just wouldnt be without one.

I am now a complete convert, just had a Powrtouch AWD mover fitted to our twin axle and what a difference it makes. I can put it exactly where I want it. I could never have put it where it is now with just the Disco. I absolutely love it. What a serious bit of kit.D3 Metropolis Bonatti Grey-Alpaca Leather-adaptive headlights-fridge-EGR blanking kit-Harmen Karden-Cruise-4x4 info enabled-Tinted Windows-Heated F&R Seats-Rosen rear Entertainment-LED'S everywhere -Smoked Side Repeaters-Rear Aircon-Vredestein Wintrac 4 Extreme-Puddle and Footwell Lamps-Stainless Steel Side Protection Tubes- NEW ASHTRAY ( thanks to dsd1036 )

Normally do sites that are not much more than fields with hookups and taps, on a posh site at Cheltenham at present arrived yesterday and reversed it on pitch to in one. So still don't see the need ==================================
