Doesn’t count, unfortunately. Bases outside geographical United States do not count for citizenship. Neither does being born on an American operated flight, whether governmental or civilian. Similarly temporary presence in USA does not result in citizenship for the baby. This changed at some point in the semi-recent past.

I think "200 aircraft" is way over any estimates I've seen elsewhere. Of the ones they did have, a lot of them went to Uzbekistan (where they will be pored over by the Russians / Chinese). I suppose the Afghans would just fill them in again but a few craters could still be made in those runways by runway-denial missiles or sappers making some large camouflets and opening-up the tops. Heck, A B-52 would do the same job.

The aircraft left aren’t very interesting for anyone “advanced”. Brazilian Embraer super tucano ones for example.

The dogs and cats were in the cargo-hold, not strapped into a seat in first-class. The flight was paid for by public donations. It was the Taliban who stopped people joining the flight.
