Aintree Green
Is this a new Land Rover colour? Or, one that's been used before?
If the latter, does anyone know what it was used on and when? Or better still, have a photo?D4 XS MY12 Galway

I was hoping that Aintree Green would be a smoky, greyish-green, which would perhaps be enough to convince me to update, but looking at the brochure it seems to be a lighter version of Galway Green, with a blueish edge to it, which I found disappointing. Still like to see one in the flesh though.

I agree - it's so difficult to know what the colours will look like - even going in to the dealers and looking at the pathetically small samples they have!
I have a Galway on order, but haven't actually seen a D4 Galway to know what it really looks like! Even less idea what Aintree will be.D4 XS MY12 Galway

Think Aintree is only available on Halewood line vehicles......(Freelander 2 and Evoque)....2016 Discovery 4 Commercial

It's due to replace Galway in 'early 2012' - according to various sources, including the D4 MY12 brochure.
Are there FL2 / Ewok's available / on the road in Aintree now?D4 XS MY12 Galway

is there no credible source of Aintree Green, or an equivalent of ?
How do I explain to She of The Permissions that the metallic colour I'm sure I need is Aintree Green when she says well, what does it look like then? all I can reply with is 'Doh!'
How in fact , with the lead times required for any given D4 delvery date (in my case march 2012) does it work to order a colour nobody has seen, that one is sure, as in I'm sure I'm sure, will look perfect, though pay £50k to live possibly with a missed opportunity to change ...
Not a big deal if one is buying a D4 of course, is the correct answer, but sheeesh....

Despite the LR colour availability notice stating that Aintree Green is being "reintroduced" for 2012MY, I can't find any matching previous colour for it.06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti
