Today I removed the air compressor from my spares 06 with a view to putting it into my 05. When I did my initial research I was expecting to find a bracket with a mounting bolt at the top and two at the bottom. What I actually found was three fixings at the bottom.
The only issue I have (not looked at the 05 yet so don't know what I have on that) is the compatibility with the other type of compressor. Help appreciated.

Some one maybe drilled an extra hole as they could not get top bolt in.

The AMK bracket has three holes on the vertical side that fits onto the chassis, it also has three holes on the horizontal for the rubber mounts that the compressor is fixed to.

The pumps and brackets on the 05 and 07 cars were exactly the same and changed over very easily. I then replaced both front struts and the valve block from the donor car before the suspension was sorted. I took the car for two or three test runs and the car suspension was fine although I did have a miss fire.
Then went to the supermarket to get some shopping and the engine died and has not gone since.
